Safe Publishing Checklist for AI Video

Review rights, identity, disclosures, sensitive content, and platform rules before publishing AI-generated video.

Publishing AI-generated video requires more than checking whether the clip looks good. Before posting, review rights, identity, claims, audience, and platform rules.

First, confirm input rights. If you uploaded a reference image, product photo, face, logo, or artwork, make sure you have permission to use it for generation and publication. Do not upload private images or copyrighted assets without a valid basis.

Second, check identity and endorsement risk. AI video can make a person, brand, or product appear to do something that never happened. Avoid misleading impersonation, false endorsements, fake testimonials, or clips that could confuse viewers about who created or approved the content.

Third, review sensitive topics. Be careful with health, finance, politics, public emergencies, minors, adult themes, violence, weapons, drugs, or gambling. Some subjects are restricted or unsuitable for advertising even if they are legal.

Fourth, inspect the output frame by frame. Look for distorted hands, unreadable text, broken logos, strange motion, unwanted objects, or background details that create legal or brand issues. Small artifacts can become large problems when a clip is used in paid campaigns.

Fifth, disclose AI use when appropriate. Disclosure is especially important for synthetic people, altered events, educational material, and sponsored content.

Finally, keep records. Save prompts, source assets, output files, publication dates, and rights information. A simple record makes it easier to respond to takedowns, advertiser reviews, client questions, or platform moderation.
